Johns Hopkins University and Johns Hopkins Health System Affiliates are members of the Johns Hopkins Enterprise, but are separate legal organizations that have a joint mission of Research, Teaching, and Patient Care.
Written agreements between Johns Hopkins University and Johns Hopkins Health System Affiliates address financial, operational, and programmatic sharing arrangements. The written agreements include Joint Administrative Agreements (JAA) and non-Joint Administrative Agreements (non-JAA).
As the Johns Hopkins Enterprise evolves, more functional agreements will be introduced to represent the dedication towards the joint mission and financial funds flow.
